About this tour
From Olden the bus drives through the small village and up the Olden valley, past Olden Lake, to Briksdal Inn.
From Briksdal Inn you walk towards Briksdal Glacier, one of the arms of the Jostedal Glacier, through scenery with waterfalls and mountains, until you reach the viewpoint at the lake of the glacier. The first part of the walk is the hardest, and it gets gradually easier. The walk to the glacier normally takes around 45-60 minutes.
Itinerary
- Drive from Olden to Briksdal Inn.
- Walk from Briksdal Inn to the glacier, with photo opportunities along the way.
- Drive back from Briksdal Inn to the cruise port.
