About this tour
A scenic drive along glacial lakes with turquoise water and reflections, surrounded by waterfalls, traditional farms and green meadows.
You visit the main lakes of the area and make two stops: one at Loen Lake, and one by Olden Lake, with a view of the Mjelkevollen Glacier, one of the arms of the Jostedal Glacier.
Olden lies at the inner end of the Nordfjord. About 1,100 people live here. It has been a tourist destination since the 1800s, when the first visitors, mainly British lords and ladies, came to see the glaciers.
Itinerary
- Drive from Olden to Loen Lake: photo stop.
- Drive back via Loen village towards Olden Lake.
- Olden Lake, with views of the Mjelkevollen Glacier: photo stop.
- Return to the cruise port.
